Dutch Champion, Winner 1990

Isaac  1986-2000, son of Babelou and Elvador du Village de Laine (son of Odilo v.d. Grimmelsburg)

Our Sjakie was a totally different dog than his mother.  He was the aristocrate of the family.  Proud, pedantic, a bit reserved and very choosy as far as food was concerned.  He did inherite his beauty and love for the sea from his mother.  I remember that we were walking along the seaside one night and the sea was quite rough.  Our Sjaak saw a bucket floating in the water and there was no way back: he had to have it.  He faced the fierce waves for about fifteen minutes but in the end he had his bucket.  He was proud as a peacock and he paraded through “Le Lavandou” with this bucket in front of his face, he couldn’t see or hear anything and he walked straight to our apartment.
Up until a very high age, when he couldn’t walk as well anymore, our Sjaak loved being at the sea and feeling the water under and past him.

Father: Elvador du Village de Laine

Moeder: Babelou du Sourire Doux (together with Isaac in the picture)
